These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Pearl Security website at pearlsecurity.co.uk and the provision of security services by Ya-Fatahoo Solutions Limited (trading as Pearl Security), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16175087), with its registered office at 249 Barnsley Road, Sheffield, England, S4 7AD. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- “Company” means Ya-Fatahoo Solutions Limited trading as Pearl Security
- “Client” means any individual, business or organisation that engages the Company for security services
- “Services” means any security services provided by the Company, including manned guarding, mobile patrols, key holding, alarm response and construction site security
- “Contract” means the agreement between the Company and the Client for the provision of Services
- “Website” means pearlsecurity.co.uk
2. Use of Our Website
By using our website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You will use the website only for lawful purposes
- You will not use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or otherwise objectionable
- You will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to our website at any time without notice if we believe you have breached these terms.
3. Our Services
Pearl Security provides professional security services including:
- Manned guarding
- Mobile patrol services
- Key holding and alarm response
- Construction site security
All services are provided by SIA-licensed security operatives who have been vetted to BS 7858 standard. The specific terms governing the provision of security services will be set out in a separate written contract between the Company and the Client.
4. Service Contracts
All security service engagements are subject to a separate written service agreement between Pearl Security and the Client. This service agreement will set out:
- The specific services to be provided
- The duration of the contract
- Pricing and payment terms
- Notice periods for termination
- Service level expectations and guarantees
- Liability limitations
No security services will commence until a written service agreement has been signed by both parties.
5. Quotations
Any quotation provided by Pearl Security is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotations are not binding until a formal written contract has been executed by both parties. Pearl Security reserves the right to withdraw or amend any quotation before a contract is signed.
6. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Invoices are issued weekly or monthly as agreed in your service contract
- Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date
- Late payment may incur interest charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
- Pearl Security reserves the right to suspend services where invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days
7. Cancellation and Termination
Notice periods for termination of security service contracts will be specified in your individual service agreement. In the event of either party wishing to terminate:
- Written notice must be provided in accordance with the notice period specified in your contract
- Any services already delivered prior to termination will be invoiced and payable
- Pearl Security reserves the right to terminate a contract immediately in the event of non-payment or breach of contract by the Client
8. Liability
Pearl Security carries public liability and employer’s liability insurance. Our liability to you in connection with any security services provided is limited as follows:
- We do not accept liability for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from the provision of our services
- Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for services during that period
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
9. Insurance
Pearl Security maintains the following insurance policies:
- Public liability insurance
- Employer’s liability insurance
Certificates of insurance are available upon request. Clients are advised to maintain their own appropriate insurance cover for their premises and assets.
10. Confidentiality
Pearl Security treats all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose any information about your business, premises or security arrangements to any third party without your consent, except where required by law or regulatory authority.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Pearl Security website, including text, images, logos and graphics, is the property of Ya-Fatahoo Solutions Limited and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. Pearl Security has no control over the content of third-party websites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
13. Data Protection
