Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
Last updated: May 2026 — Ya-Fatahoo Solutions Limited (trading as Pearl Security)
This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy is issued by Ya-Fatahoo Solutions Limited (trading as Pearl Security), Company No. 16175087, registered at 249 Barnsley Road, Sheffield, England, S4 7AD. Pearl Security is committed to conducting its business in a manner that is ethical, socially responsible and beneficial to the communities across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands in which we operate. This policy is reviewed annually.
1. Introduction
Pearl Security believes that a professional security company has a responsibility that extends beyond the services it provides to individual clients. We operate across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Leeds and Nottingham — communities that have shaped our business and that we are committed to serving with integrity, fairness and genuine local investment.
Corporate Social Responsibility at Pearl Security is not a marketing exercise. It is a set of genuine commitments — to our employees, to the communities we operate in, to our clients, to the environment and to the broader security industry — that we hold ourselves accountable to through this policy and its annual review.
2. Our People — Fair Employment and Development
Our security officers are the foundation of everything Pearl Security delivers. Our CSR commitment to our people includes:
2.1 Fair Pay and Employment Conditions
- We pay all employees and security officers at least the National Living Wage — and commit to paying fairly and transparently at all times
- All employees receive written contracts of employment before their first shift
- We do not use zero-hours contracts as a means of avoiding employment obligations — all officers have clear, documented working arrangements
- We comply fully with the Working Time Regulations 1998 — ensuring all officers receive adequate rest, reasonable working hours and appropriate breaks
- We do not make unlawful deductions from wages under any circumstances
2.2 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Pearl Security is committed to equality of opportunity in all employment decisions — recruitment, deployment, development and promotion
- We do not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010 — including age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation
- We actively welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and are committed to building a workforce that reflects the diverse communities of South Yorkshire
- We take all allegations of discrimination, harassment or bullying seriously and will investigate and act on all such concerns promptly
2.3 Staff Development and Wellbeing
- We support all officers in maintaining their SIA licences and professional development
- We take the mental health and wellbeing of all our personnel seriously — particularly given the challenging environments in which security officers often work
- We maintain a safe, respectful working environment for all employees and officers in accordance with our Health & Safety Policy
3. Our Communities — Local Commitment
Pearl Security is a South Yorkshire business. We are based in Sheffield and we serve businesses and communities across Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Leeds and Nottingham. Our community CSR commitments include:
3.1 Local Employment
- We actively seek to recruit security officers from the local communities in which we operate — Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and surrounding areas
- We support local employment by providing opportunities for individuals seeking to enter or develop careers in the security industry
- We work with individuals who may face barriers to employment — providing a fair, transparent recruitment process that focuses on character, reliability and commitment rather than background alone
3.2 Supporting Local Business
- Where practicable, Pearl Security uses local suppliers, contractors and service providers across South Yorkshire
- We are committed to prompt payment of all suppliers — supporting the financial health of the local business community
- We actively support and promote other local businesses through our networks and partnerships
3.3 Community Safety
- Pearl Security contributes to community safety across South Yorkshire through the professional security services we provide — deterring crime, protecting businesses and supporting the safety of the communities in which our clients operate
- We work cooperatively with South Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Police and other law enforcement agencies to support the wider goal of community safety across our operational areas
4. Our Clients — Ethical Business Conduct
Pearl Security is committed to conducting all client relationships with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism:
- We provide transparent, honest pricing — no hidden charges, no misleading quotations
- We do not make claims about our services that we cannot substantiate or deliver
- We treat all client information as strictly confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR obligations
- We maintain open, honest communication with all clients — including when things go wrong
- We do not engage in any form of bribery, corruption or anti-competitive behaviour — in full compliance with the Bribery Act 2010 and Competition Act 1998
5. The Environment — Responsible Operations
Pearl Security acknowledges its environmental responsibilities and is committed to minimising the environmental impact of its operations. Our environmental commitments are set out in full in our Environmental Policy. In summary, Pearl Security commits to:
- Reducing fuel consumption and vehicle emissions through efficient patrol route planning and responsible driving practices
- Reducing waste and supporting recycling across all office and operational activities
- Progressively moving towards lower-emission vehicles as operationally practicable
- Considering environmental impact in all procurement decisions
6. The Security Industry — Professional Standards
Pearl Security is committed to raising professional standards across the UK security industry through its own conduct:
- We maintain full compliance with the Private Security Industry Act 2001 — all operatives hold valid SIA licences verified before every deployment
- We vet all staff to BS 7858:2019 standard — refusing to cut corners on pre-employment screening
- We do not engage in the practice of deploying unlicensed operatives — a practice that undermines professional standards across the industry
- We pay our officers fairly — refusing to compete on price by exploiting or underpaying the people who deliver our services
- We are committed to transparency about our credentials — our SIA licence (1014558216157759), Company Number (16175087), VAT registration (486839425) and ICO registration (ZB986751) are all publicly verifiable
7. Governance and Accountability
The Director — Muhammad Khan — has overall responsibility for Pearl Security’s CSR commitments. This policy will be reviewed annually and updated to reflect our evolving commitments and any relevant changes in legislation or best practice. Pearl Security welcomes feedback from clients, employees, officers and community stakeholders on our CSR performance.
8. Policy Review
This CSR Policy will be reviewed by the Director at least annually. All employees and officers will be notified of any material changes.
